Cabinets &
Countertops
One big element of a kitchen and bathroom is the cabinets and countertops. The decision to replace your countertops or cabinets may already be integrated with your kitchen or bathroom remodel, or you may choose to replace them independently to give your home an uplift.
No matter your situation, our team at Kegonsa Plumbing can help with the selection, replacement, and installation of new cabinets and countertops, giving your space a fresh and updated look.
Countertops
Sometimes a space in need of updating may not require a full remodel to experience the benefits. When this is the case, top swaps are a popular option that some of our clients have chosen to do in the past. This is a simplified process of switching out your current kitchen or bathroom countertop with an updated version, such as replacing your laminate countertop with a quartz countertop or a granite countertop. There are many different countertop materials to choose from including:
- Quartz countertops
- Butcher block countertops
- Granite countertops
- Laminate countertops
- Marble countertops
- Tile countertops
- Porcelain countertops
High-quality stone countertops like marble or quartz have always been associated with luxury, and therefore, with high costs. We partner with Carstin Brands because they consistently provide high quality at an affordable price. If you’re looking to source marble, quartz, granite, or an engineered solid surface that looks similar to stone, Carstin is our recommended partner.
If you’re thinking about replacing your countertops, whether as a part of your kitchen or bathroom remodel or independently, reach out to our team to set up a complimentary in-home consultation to get started!
Cabinets
Cabinets are an essential part of every kitchen and bathroom. There are three basic types of cabinetry, including stock, semi-custom, and custom cabinets. Each type of cabinet provides different advantages depending on your unique needs and budget.
Stock cabinets are manufactured using standard measurements and styles, and typically have limited options, but are generally cheaper than custom cabinets. Semi-custom cabinets are a step above stock cabinets, with options to include extra detailing and the option to change certain dimensions, like increasing the depth or resizing the cabinet drawers.
Custom cabinets are measured, designed, and built to fit a unique space, and can be mounted to the ceiling or floor. At Kegonsa Plumbing, we offer two cabinet lines, one for stock cabinets, and one for semi and fully custom cabinets.
For stock cabinets, we work with Legacy Cabinets, based out of Eastaboga, Alabama. Our team uses the Début Series Presidential Construction high-end box cabinets, which are made with ½ inch plywood and matching veneer exterior and a UV clear finish on the interior. We are one of the few remodelers to install this brand of cabinets in the greater Madison, Wisconsin, area.
Our semi-custom and custom cabinets are all a handmade Amish line, based out of Hillsborough, Wisconsin. These cabinets are made out of ¾ inch plywood and are custom designed, measured, and built to fit each unique space.
